Beth brings to Preferred Living Solutions over 30 years of professional social work experience. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from East Carolina University and her Master of Social Work degree from Delaware State University where she also obtained a specialization in mental health. She has held positions as a medical and psychiatric social worker in various establishments including home health, physical rehabilitation, hospice, long-term care, and inpatient/ outpatient psychiatry.

Beth is passionate about advocating and educating others so they can make informed decisions and become empowered to improve their quality of life.

Beth is a native North Carolinian and resides on the family farm where she grew up. She is married to her husband Robert and together they have two children. In her free time, Beth enjoys cooking, reading, attending live music concerts, and playing with their beloved dog, Opal.
