After earning her master’s degree, Alex began her professional career at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where she worked with veterans experiencing severe mental illness and substance use disorders. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in advocacy, care coordination, and helping individuals and families navigate complex healthcare and community support systems. Her experience has strengthened her commitment to meeting people where they are and providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Alex is passionate about helping older adults and their families navigate the aging journey with confidence, dignity, and the support they need to make informed decisions. She believes every client deserves to have their voice heard, and values building trusting relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to create collaborative, individualized care plans. She enjoys helping clients navigate life’s transitions, connecting them with resources, and working collaboratively to support their goals and independence. She finds fulfillment in helping families navigate difficult transitions and providing guidance that brings peace of mind during times of uncertainty.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring thrift stores, creating art, spending time with animals, and finding inspiration through creativity and the outdoors.
