Marissa Conniff, MS, CCC-SLP

Marissa graduated from the University of Florida and the University of South Florida, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in the field since 2010 in a variety of settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan. After moving to North Carolina in 2019, she most recently served as an AAC Specialist with the North Carolina Assistive Technology Program.

Marissa is passionate about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology, and she finds fulfillment in connecting with clients, families, and colleagues to create meaningful, team-driven solutions. She believes collaboration is key to empowering individuals and fostering independence. Through her work, Marissa has spent considerable time helping families and caregivers—both for children and older adults—understand and confidently implement communication and access tools to promote independence. She values working closely with individuals, families, and service providers to ensure everyone is on the same page, creating consistent and supportive environments where clients can thrive.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband and children, golfing, and crafting.
